Deep Tissue
Treatment of the muscle tissue down to the deepest level. This massage is effective for injury treatment, tension or as preventative maintenance. Deeply relieving muscle tension, it is productive in flushing the system of toxins, so be sure to drink plenty of water following.

Athletic/Sports
An active and specialized form of massage typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of this massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, drain away fatigue, relieve swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote flexibility and prevent injuries. (Can include stretching if client prefers)

Trigger Point
Focuses on particularly painful spots and nodules found on the body known as muscle knots. These are not specified or predetermined, but are physical points in the body that cause and refer pain.

Swedish/Relaxation
The most commonly known and used form of massage in the US. It is considered the standard and basis of all massage methods. Swedish massage focuses on stress relief and relaxation.
